Newton is a mature city to the west of Boston and is known for its
classic homes. Becoming a city in 1873, Newton was actually settled
in 1630. Newton was suburbanized in waves, but by the 1950s they
were pretty densely settled. Raw land is a rare find in Newton and
many of the newer construction homes are actually built on once
settled land. We are seeing many developers purchasing smaller
homes on larger lots and building new more grand homes to take
